Senior Session with your Bestie

With all the hijinks and craziness going on with these two in the photos above, I did get a pretty awesome shot of them both showcased on my Facebook business page!  Go check it out!

Picking Flowers & Finding Butterflies

Julie Walking 1Julie Walking 2Julie Walking 3Julie Walking 4Julie Walking 5Julie Walking 6Julie Walking 7It’s the dead of winter right now and I am missing all the bright colorful wildflowers from this session.  I’m so ready for Spring….

Nonetheless, what a great morning we had together.  This sweet girl finished up her last milestone session, the walking session, picking wild flowers and finding “butterflies.”  Ok, so it wasn’t a real butterfly, but a mosaic one, but it was still pretty neat.   After the session, Mom surprised me with a beautiful starburst/flower looking blanket!    I raved and raved about this neat blanket from her second daughter’s newborn session and how cool it looked in photos!    It was such a thought and meaningful gift.  My clients are so very good to me and I always treasure my time with them.    Thank you Mrs. S!!!!!!!!

Big Brother, Little Brother

I love watching families interact with one another. Witnessing their love for one another makes my job so fulfilling. And then you get sibling interaction and well, there is just something fun about that too. Typically there is a calmer sibling and then there is a more outgoing, highly energetic one. Can you tell which one is which in the photos above?

Breathtaking

I exhale when I look at these images and just shake my head at how ridiculously breathtaking this couple is on this night. I joke with Mr. & Mrs. C that I don’t think they could take a bad picture even if they tried! It was one of those sessions that EVERYTHING just magically came together. I didn’t even have to recommend poses for them to do. I simply told them to snuggle up and love each other.   ♥  ♥  ♥

[…] lil’ guy made the cutest pumpkin ever!   Mom and Dad had the idea, back in the Fall, to incorporate a pumpkin into their maternity session which, I in turn, wanted to also include in their newborn session with their new lil’ […]

We Played, We Smiled, We (He) Cried

What a fun morning I had with one of my favorite little redheads!   Love this lil’ guy!  I remember back at his newborn session, and how his light little peach fuzz head had that slight strawberry blonde look.  I so hoped he would keep his red hair and YES he did!   What a joy he was at his sitting session too.  Such a happy, smiley baby!

So now, as we come up to the point in all my Milestone Package clients time with me, we have come to the walking session which completes our time together.  As with this age comes mobility and curiosity and the inability (or the want to) sit still.  Mom and I got creative playing games and listening to music on her iPhone.  He was running around and playing so hard, that he actually lost his shoe!  See it in the iPhone pic?  LOL!  Too funny!   Also with this age, the kids typically let me know when they are done being photographed.    Done with playing, done with sitting, done with smiling, just DONE!   And Mr. F certainly let me know when he had reached his limit.  🙂
