Lazy Kind of Day ~ Round Rock Child Photographer

Well, looks like day 2 of yucky weather, foggy, drizzily, and now we are expecting a light freeze. Being cooped up in the house with two rambuncious children can be crazy! Luckily, I have a mini-shoot today with a fabulous personal trainer, Courtney Orlin! (so at least we will get out of the house for a little bit). She is building a website and needs a few product shots. Check back soon for more details of Courtney’s business.

In the meantime, nothing beats kickin’ up your feet and watching a little Dora the Explorer to pass the time! It’s a cuddle up, watch some TV, and relax kind of day!

Valentine’s Day Cards

I just designed some new Valentine’s Day cards!   The Tiny Hearts Collection comes with a front and back design in a cute little 4×5.5 size!   If you are a professional photographer and are interested in purchasing the set for your clients, click on my Rae of Light Designs blog!

Here is a little peek to what they look like!

Intimate Maternity ~ Round Rock Maternity Photographer

As a photographer, you love it when you get a client who gives you creative freedom.   They trust you to bring out the best in them and their life experiences.   My dear friend, Lil’ T, who I have know since college, did just this for me, allowing me to follow my vision.    Lil’ T, who normally weighs 95 lbs before pregnancy, and her husband, who we lovingly call Shaggy, are having a sweet baby boy next month, and I had the honor of photographing her beautiful pregnancy.    I was able to capture some beautiful, intimate moments between them; and also so fun, silly ones too!     Thank you soooooo much Lil T & Shaggy!

Here are just a few sneak peek images from our session last weekend.

Ok, maybe I am showing my age on this last one.  Does anyone remember seeing this back in the day when you wanted to easedrop on someone?  You’d put a glass up to the wall to hear what’s going on in the next room?    I saw this idea in a magazine, and have always wanted to do it with one of my pregnant mommies!  Thanks Shaggy for being game to do it; I think it turned out cute!

Happy Days with The Fonz

I met this cutie during my maternity photoshoot this past weekend. Her name is Fonzie, and her name totally fits her – she is one COOL pup! Although we tried to incorporate her into some of the maternity portraits, she much perferred to look out the window and lay at the foot of the bed. Nonetheless, I was able to capture a few cute shots of her. Maybe this was her intention all along, have the spot-light solely on her! Wonder what she will be like when the baby comes next month?

Back in Town

I had a wonderful weekend in Dallas photographing the most beautiful Mommy to be! Cant wait to show some of the portraits for her sneak peek.

In the meantime, here is my lil’ girl playing peek a boo in the bushes! Very bright-eyed, and bushy tailed, a huge change from the sleepy girl in the post below.
