Exercise Physiologist – Courtney Orlin

My very close friend Courtney Orlin commissioned me to take some business photographs for her a few days ago. She has been a personal trainer for many years now, and is in the process of building her own website! She had alot of great ideas and we ended up taking a ton of images. Here are just a few that I loved!

Headshot for Mrs. G

I have been getting quite a few requests lately for business related photography. One particular lady needed headshots for a book she is about to have published, while another, Mrs. G, who is pictured below, needed headshots for her company’s website. The creative bug in me envisioned some great outdoor locations, however, Mrs. G’s company needed something more studio-like. Well, anyone who knows me, knows that I dont have a studio. But we made do with some beautiful natural light and a white backdrop here at my home office! I think the results are fantastic!

Thanks Mrs. G for a great little afternoon session! I enjoyed talking with you!

Lazy Kind of Day ~ Round Rock Child Photographer

Well, looks like day 2 of yucky weather, foggy, drizzily, and now we are expecting a light freeze. Being cooped up in the house with two rambuncious children can be crazy! Luckily, I have a mini-shoot today with a fabulous personal trainer, Courtney Orlin! (so at least we will get out of the house for a little bit). She is building a website and needs a few product shots. Check back soon for more details of Courtney’s business.

In the meantime, nothing beats kickin’ up your feet and watching a little Dora the Explorer to pass the time! It’s a cuddle up, watch some TV, and relax kind of day!

Intimate Maternity ~ Round Rock Maternity Photographer

As a photographer, you love it when you get a client who gives you creative freedom.   They trust you to bring out the best in them and their life experiences.   My dear friend, Lil’ T, who I have know since college, did just this for me, allowing me to follow my vision.    Lil’ T, who normally weighs 95 lbs before pregnancy, and her husband, who we lovingly call Shaggy, are having a sweet baby boy next month, and I had the honor of photographing her beautiful pregnancy.    I was able to capture some beautiful, intimate moments between them; and also so fun, silly ones too!     Thank you soooooo much Lil T & Shaggy!

Here are just a few sneak peek images from our session last weekend.

Ok, maybe I am showing my age on this last one.  Does anyone remember seeing this back in the day when you wanted to easedrop on someone?  You’d put a glass up to the wall to hear what’s going on in the next room?    I saw this idea in a magazine, and have always wanted to do it with one of my pregnant mommies!  Thanks Shaggy for being game to do it; I think it turned out cute!
